Renderings
In the fall of 2020, the Small Town Center (STC) partnered with the Greater Grenada Area Chamber of Commerce to create schematic renderings of two potential development sites.
The rendering for the Grenada Lake Recreational Center project depicts a 60,000 square foot convention center that will attract sporting, outdoor and other corporate events to support future quality of place growth for the region.
The second rendering depicts a new Community College Site. This proposal is a collaborative initiative between the Grenada School District, Holmes Community College, and UMMC to foster effective dual enrollment programs and increase student enrollment supported by a nearby recreational sports complex north of the I-55 Papermill Road Exit. The rendering illustrates to local stakeholders a visual concept of relocating these vocational entities out to the interstate.
Both renderings serve to market the potential projects to stakeholders and investors.
